Beaver Scouts are young people usually aged between six and eight years. They belong to the first and youngest section in our Scouting family.
Young people can join Beavers in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday and then can move to the next section, Cub Scouts, between seven years and six months and eight years six months.
Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beavers enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others.
We enjoy sleepovers, often the first time a young person spends a night away from home.
We meet together once a week on Tuesday at 5:15 pm.

Beavers
Another year has flown by, we cannot believe it goes so fast. That’s what you get when you’re having fun!
Our new helper Sofia, who is going to university in September to study primary teaching become a vital member of our team, we are very lucky to have her.
In May we had a Coronation tea to celebrate King Charles coming to the throne. In June we visited St Augustine’s Church and learnt a bit about the workings of it. The beavers also played the organ and rang the bell!
In August, our beavers visited the 1st Coulsdon Cubs for the day at their camp at Park Farm in Banstead. We joined in several activities which went towards our Campcraft and Explorers badge.
In October some of the beavers joined together with the cubs in a joint camp at Bears Wood. They had a fabulous time learning new skills and games, and of course a sleep over!
